Aphrodite: Perpetual Love

The Greek Goddess Aphrodite is infamous for her tales of mischief and passion. As the goddess of love, lust and fertility, Aphrodite found herself in some compelling situations. When reading her stories I came to a realization that there are perpetual themes present in her mythology that we still see today. 

             Love, lust, jealousy, infidelity. Damsels in distress and forbidden lovers. By deconstructing and re-examining Aphrodite’s mythology with a contemporary approach we start to reveal the everlasting trials and tribulations present in the complex affairs of love and how they have evolved over time.
